Our daily lives cannot be fully realised without considering our relationship with natural resources. Given the complexity of natural interactions and processes in time and space, it is not easy to fully understand the relationships between humans and the natural world. This complex interaction of overlapping systems is called a System of Systems (SoS) and is studied in many fields worldwide.
One of the important components of this SoS between humans and the natural environment, is continuous “high-quality data monitoring”. Meaning, to extract clues for a better future from the vast amount of monitoring information that is constantly being accumulated, we believe the advanced integration of computer science and field science, is necessary.
Proactively applying advanced technologies such as computer simulations, databases, IoT (Internet of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and cloud computing, allows for better understanding of relationships between humans and natural resources. Therefore, we are working on developing integrated monitoring technologies, so that reliable actions can be taken.
